THE GREEN GIG™

2017 TGG invite

THE CAUSE

THE IMPORTANCE

THE FOOD AND FUN

THE BENEFIT

Established in 2013, the Steward's Scholarship Fund helps bridge the early learning access gap in our community to give all children, especially those in greatest need, the strong start they deserve.

Investment in early education generates significant social and economic returns that strengthen our communities and our nation. Access to early childhood education allows youth to continue their path for success.

Every aspect of the farm-2-table meal is grown, produced, baked, brewed or stewed, within, about 50 miles of Gig Harbor. Each year a local chef, and their team, steps up to the 'locally grown' basket to prepare an amazing feast. The evening is replete with live music, annual TGG auctions offering unique experiences, art, and more.

Proceeds benefit the Stewards Scholarship Fund which helps to provide early childhood education opportunities to families in need, giving all children in our community, the strong start they need and deserve.

The Green Gig... an annual locally grown tradition!

Each year, The Green Gig™ provides the community an opportunity to join in an evening of great food, heartwarming stories, and bidding for unique items and experiences to benefit early childhood education in our community.

Now in its 10th year, the fun-filled evening features a complete 100% FARM-2-TABLE meal, replete with beverages, music, and fun.

Since 2012, the Foundation has provided over $125,000 to support early childhood education for more than 300 area children by underwriting a portion of tuition costs for every student. Additional assistance is provided through the Stewards Scholarship Fund, established in 2013 to help close the early learning access gap in our community and give all children, especially those in greatest need, the strong start they need and deserve. The past 9 years have sold out, so get your tickets early!

Proceeds benefit GGHF Curious by Nature's outdoor early learning program and the Stewards Scholarship Fund to help bridge the early learning access gap in our community.
