2017 CiderSwig fbad

The Cider Swig returns to Gig Harbor on National Public Lands Day 2017.

Two dozen regional cidermakers will present a range of 90+ hard ciders to the growing community of cider lovers and the cider-curious alike traveling from near and far to join in a day of sampling the best ciders west of the Mississippi!

The Cider Swig Stage and Apple Carnivale Stage will be ALIVE all day with great entertainment including world-groove from Budapest West; sizzling twin fiddles by Spare Thyme; Creole la-la and Zydeco music by Richard Allen and The Louisiana Experience; acoustic pop from Kristen Marlo; folk, country & blues from Sweet Mary; R&R from the All Star Academy Band; and, Charlie "The Noiseguy" Williams (additional info).

Talk about great eats! Come see what Taylor Shellfish Farms has on the grill, sink your teeth into Smokin Zee's ribs, get your aloha going with plates by Kama’aina Grill, treat yourself to 'off the hook' Native American cusine from Off the Rez, go South of the Border with Burrito Boy, grab a savory burger from Stacks, hit Hot Diggity Dogs &  Sausages, or grab some classic American at Arnold's Happy Days to savor with your cider!

From apple pie contests to apple launching, and Apple Carnivàle Zone street performers, games and more, a great day is in store for the entire family.

The Cider Swig again combines eco-awareness and our commitment to community. Proceeds raised go to support the Lu Winsor Memorial Environmental grants program, which provides annual grants to area schools, organizations and agencies within the greater KGI watershed for projects focused on water quality, environmental education, watershed enhancement and restoration activities, parks, trails and agricultural lands.

The CIDER SWIG is a proud member of the Northwest Cider Association!      NWCAlogo
