What is the good that you create in the world? Whether it’s arts and culture, education, parks, environment, recreation, human services or something completely unique, GGHF is in the business of creating change that benefits our greater peninsula community.
But, what if you could magnify that change? What if, with some support and shared knowledge, you could take your good to great?
As a result of work that began in 2011 with over 50 community nonprofit organization participants, the Foundation launched a range services to support local projects, programs and nonprofits in their work to create positive change in our community by becoming a certified fiscal sponsor, and providing a range of professional resources, training, consultation and technical assistance services.

FISCAL SPONSORSHIP
Fiscal sponsorship is a legal mechanism that allows a 501(c)(3) organization like a community foundation (the sponsor) to support and protect the sponsored partner (i.e., project or program), by assuming its legal and fiduciary responsibilities.
, financial management, regulator compliance and filing services, to help build the capacity of charitable projects.
