The former Senior Club, was housed in the Cheney Family Branch of the Boys & Girls Club, and was reborn as the Gig Harbor Senior Center (GHSC) on May 1, 2019 when it officially came under the umbrella of the Greater Gig Harbor Foundation (GGHF). This partnership presents a significant opportunity to help fill a critical void in our community.

The nonprofit status granted to the GHSC enables the newly formed organization to operate under the Foundation’s umbrella as a fully functioning 501(c)(3) nonprofit charity.

GHSC will continue its important work to provide much-needed services for our community seniors.

Thank you to to the City of Gig Harbor, Pierce County, Boys & Girls Club of the South Puget Sound, the Greater Gig Harbor Foundation, and all who have come together to help in the search for a temporary home/homes for the GHSC programs. Our search for a long-term solution continues.
